Veterinarian Dr. Adam Pendleton is often asked if he owned a boat while growing up near the lake. His answer is unique for someone who lived in Marblehead.
“I say I grew up on the only horse farm in Ottawa County,” he said.
Pendleton still lives on the 15-acre farm that has been in his family for generations. Horses no longer live on the serene property surrounded by trees swayed by lake breezes.
